May: Unveiling of the statue of Adamantios Korais at the Propylaea of the University at a public ceremony. Donated by shipowners from Chios.

Ernest Ziller’s letter on the delivery of the statue of Adamantios Korais and the construction of a base at the designated location in the Propylaea of the University. Its construction was accomplished with the assistance of Chian shipowners.
